What to expect:
- A short, practical walkthrough on Bitcoin basics and self-custody (wallets, seed phrases, security tips — bring questions!).
- Open discussion: market trends, Lightning Network, adoption stories, or whatever the group wants to dive into.
- Hardware show-and-tell if anyone brings gear.
- Local action: We'll talk about how Square (Block) has now natively added Bitcoin payments for millions of U.S. businesses — with zero processing fees through 2026 and easy Lightning integration. Many local shops already use Square, so this is a huge opportunity for real-world adoption right here on the Grand Strand. We'll have Bitcoin stickers to put out at businesses and simple ways to help educate owners on handling Bitcoin payments effortlessly.
