About Event

Community member Margot Paez is delivering her Ph.d. thesis defense at Georgia Tech, and it's about bitcoin mining! Come listen to her defense to support her for all this hard work and to learn a thing or two about mining and the environment.

If you can't make it Monday in the middle of the day, don't worry. We'll also invite Margot to give a recap to the meetup during one of the Wednesday night sessions.

What to expect
This is at Georgia Tech in the Sustainable Education Building, room SEB 122. Give yourself ample time to find parking ahead of the event. This isn't one of our usual meetup events. This is a formal presentation, so if you plan to come, be there on-time and ready to listen.
