Bitcoin Pizza Day Meetup
Join us for a casual Bitcoin Pizza Day meetup as we celebrate one of the most famous stories in Bitcoin history.
On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 bitcoin for two pizzas — the first known real-world purchase made with Bitcoin. What looked like a simple pizza order became a major milestone: proof that Bitcoin could be used as money.
We’ll hang out, dish out pizza, talk Bitcoin, and connect with other local Bitcoiners. Whether you’re brand new, curious, or already deep down the rabbit hole, this will be an easy, low-pressure event to meet people and learn more.
Come hungry. Bring questions. Bitcoiners of all experience levels welcome.
