Our next meetup will be on Wednesday, July 15th, from 7–9 p.m. at Union Jack Pub in Broad Ripple.
This month, Paul will be presenting “The Oldest Argument in the Room.” After attending three Bitcoin conferences in one week, one question kept coming up: why is explaining Bitcoin still so hard, and what can we actually do about it locally? Paul will share what he learned about orange-pilling your neighbor, the 3,000-year moral case for sound money, and why building Bitcoin circular economies might be some of the most important work happening in Indianapolis right now. The presentation will start promptly at 7:30, followed by open Q&A and discussion.
If you haven’t been to a meetup yet, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Newcomers are always welcome!
We’ve been averaging 25–30 guests per meetup, and there’s always a handful of new faces. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime Bitcoiner or brand new to the space - everyone is welcome.
Free drinks will be provided by our friends at Megawatt! Megawatt is a Bitcoin mining company that was founded at our meetup. If you’re thinking about getting into mining, check them out at megawatthq.com
