Dakar Bitcoin Days

Dakar Bitcoin Days is Senegal’s (and Francophone Africa’s) premier Bitcoin-only conference.

Organized by Bitcoin Sénégal, it is a 100% Bitcoin-focused event featuring conferences, workshops, panels, and networking in English, French, and Wolof.

It brings together students, entrepreneurs, developers, and enthusiasts for deep discussions on Bitcoin’s role in financial inclusion, sovereignty, and African economies.

Some Key Objectives:
🔷Provide high-quality education on Bitcoin technology, Lightning Network, self-custody, and use cases.

🔷Foster networking and collaboration among Bitcoin builders across Senegal and Africa.

🔷Discuss Bitcoin in local context — including financial inclusion, economic growth, and cultural/religious perspectives (e.g., halal aspects).

🔷Host workshops, hackathons, and panels to encourage practical adoption and development.
