(Rescheduled) Indy Bitcoin Meetup #57 - How the Legal System Sees Your Bitcoin

Rob, an Attorney, will share real-world stories and lessons from civil cases involving Bitcoin, including wills, bankruptcies, divorces, business disputes, and other legal proceedings. Learn how courts view Bitcoin ownership, what happens when disputes arise, and common mistakes Bitcoiners should avoid. This will be a practical discussion of how Bitcoin intersects with the legal system, backed by firsthand experience and case studies.

If you haven’t been to a meetup yet, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Newcomers are always welcome!

We’ve been averaging 25–30 guests per meetup, and there’s always a handful of new faces. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime Bitcoiner or brand new to the space - everyone is welcome.
