Join us for our next Bitcoin meetup in Vilnius !
This time we will screen The Bitcoin Farmer, a documentary by Joe Nakamoto filmed in Madeira. The film follows a family farm using Bitcoin miners to heat greenhouses, reduce humidity, and make productive use of solar power.
After the screening, we will open the discussion around a simple question: what happens when Bitcoin mining is used for something tangible in the real world?
We will also have real mining machines on site to show and discuss, so the meetup will not stay purely theoretical.
And we will talk about heat reuse, energy efficiency, local resilience, and whether this kind of model is a niche curiosity or a meaningful example of Bitcoin utility.
This meetup is for people who want to better understand what Bitcoin is actually useful for, how adoption develops on the ground, and what real usage can look like in practice.
Whether you are already into Bitcoin or simply curious, you are welcome to join.
📅 Thursday, July 2nd, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
📍 At Zolak Micro Art Residence, 50D Vytenio g., Vilnius
