₿🏃🏼 8th Satoshi Freeathlon in Steinebach am Wörthsee - A hobby triathlon

For the Celebration of Bitcoin UASF Independence Day we do a yearly hobby triathlon.
We meet at Park & Ride parking in Steinebach (am Wörthsee) at the S-Bahn station.

Swimming (1 km) across the Wörthsee lake and back.
Biking (~55km) road cycling with some hills.
Running (10km) to the lake in Weßling (with an option to jump in the Weßlinger See) and finishing at the parking. We will then afterwards also have time to jump in the Wörthsee and sit together for drinks.

Meeting time: 8:30 am
Start swim: roughly 9:00 am
Meeting point: S-Bahn station Park & Ride parking in Steinebach am Wörthsee.
Please make sure to be ready for starting the swim before 9am.

If you are fit for a Olympic distance easy pace triathlon, join us. We are a group of some bitcoiners (& precoiners ;)) & sports enthusiasts doing a friendly triathlon every year since 2019 at any weather without time tracking just as a sportive day excursion together. You can also join for just one or two disciplines, which is common and other participants also do.

After this triathlon, anybody who would like to can join for a comfortable round of food and drinks at the Kiosk am Wörthsee in Steinebach. We will be sitting together for a while afterwards as well as probably relaxing and bathing in the lake. We will be getting to the Kiosk likely between 3 and 4pm.

Your are responsible for your own safety at all times. This is not a commercial event, but a group of athletes and sports enthusiasts working out together. Helmets are required during cycling. You can choose to just join in for certain disciplines or just one. Only advanced swimmers for the swimming part. You must ensure your own safety. You are responsible for bringing enough water and energy supplies.
