TOPIC 1: Decentralize the Meetup
This group currently leans on a small number of people to run it. That's a single point of failure worth addressing on our own terms rather than discovering the hard way.

We'll open a group discussion on distributing leadership and decision making, taking cues from how the Bisq DAO operates: influence earned through contribution rather than assigned titles, proposals and records kept in the open, and a treasury that no one person can move alone.

On the table:

Multisig control of the meetup treasury, so spending requires consensus rather than one signature
Public, verifiable records of proposals, decisions, and spending
Contributor-based participation instead of formal officers and tiers
* Rotating responsibilities so the meetup survives any one of us stepping back

TOPIC 2: Bitcoin After BIP-110: Where Do We Go From Here?
Led by HodelHermit, ~30 minutes
Bitcoin is once again facing a fundamental question: what happens when different parts of the community disagree about the rules of the network?

We'll review the aftermath of the BIP-110 chain split and where things stand today, including what miners, developers, node operators, exchanges, and businesses have been saying.

We'll compare the two networks, BTC SHA256 and BTC BLAKE2B, on their technical differences and their respective communities and economic support, and lay out the arguments being made on each side.

The goal is to understand what comes next: how consensus is formed, what ultimately gives a Bitcoin network value, and what this moment may mean for Bitcoin's future.

From 6:30 - 8:30PM, the Allen R. Baca Center will be our starting point.

We will share an educational topic before heading across the street for Bitcoin Happy Hour in historic downtown Round Rock. Some light refreshments will be provided, but you are also welcome to BYOB.

We'll also demo some tools and provide opportunities for a little peer to peer circular economy A.K.A. Satoshi Square.

The purpose of this group is 2 fold:

* Share knowledge, tools, resources, and benefits of the Bitcoin network for advancing humankind.
* Peer to peer networking with other bitcoiners in order to grow adoption by local businesses within our community.

Whether you are new to bitcoin or a hardened node runner, if you live in or around Round Rock, this group is for you.
