About Event

Join us for a deep dive into the inner workings of Bitcoin wallets! Whether you're a developer, a curious Bitcoiner, or someone wanting to understand what happens under the hood when you click "Send," this meetup is for you.

We will break down how wallets manage your secret keys, how transactions are constructed and signed, and how they navigate the mempool to reach finality on the blockchain.
Led by Bitshala educators and open-source builders. Our sessions are led by active community members who build open-source tools, study the Bitcoin protocol, and advocate for transparent, open software.
Coding experience not required. Intellectual curiosity about peer-to-peer technology is.
You will leave this session with a clear, grounded understanding of how value travels from a local secret key to permanent block confirmation.
Bitshala is a Bitcoin-focused education initiative where we help developers, designers, and curious builders learn by doing. We run cohorts, clubs, workshops, a hackerspace, and community programs that make it easier for people to explore, contribute to, and build on Bitcoin. Our focus is on hands-on learning, proof-of-work, and growing alongside a community of people who care about open technology, design, and the future of money.
