We're outside again. Parque Urbano Outeiro da Vela, picnic benches, early evening light.

This one is less talking at you and more doing. The frame is self-custody of self: the same principles we already live by, sovereignty, verification, low time preference, antifragility, turned inward. You can have perfect cold storage and still fall apart under pressure. You can be sovereign over your money and completely dependent on everything else. That gap is what the evening is about.

Jean-Jacques leads the session. Twenty five years off-grid in Montana before he landed here, so this comes from having done it rather than read about it. A short framing on resilience and sovereignty, then a practical exercise in small groups where you work out where you actually stand across water, food, energy, security and the mental side that holds it all together. Then an honest roundtable.

Most people find there's a bigger gap than they expected between where they are and where they'd want to be. That's the useful part.

We'll also share what we're building next. There's a shape forming for where this community goes from here, and I want your input on it in the room rather than after the fact.
