Our guest speaker is Bob Burnett, CEO of Barefoot Mining and Executive Chairman at Ocean. Bob is an extremely knowledgeable and highly respected voice in the Bitcoin space, and we are privileged to have him as our guest.
Barefoot Mining is focused on the development of small to medium-sized Bitcoin mining sites, and Bob is a vocal proponent for the expansion of diversity in Bitcoin mining site geography, scale, and energy sources. He has spent over 35 years as a technologist including 13 years at Gateway, Inc., a Fortune 200 personal computer company, where he led the company’s product development efforts as Chief Technical Officer.
He has founded several companies in the Bitcoin mining space and is an evangelist and educator for Bitcoin and its importance to the world’s future.

Meeting Details
We spend the first 15 minutes socializing and having snacks. The presentations run from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. In this group, we mostly focus on Bitcoin and its monetary and technical properties. We also discuss other blockchains, protocols, and ALL aspects of Web 3. We welcome all questions from Basic to Advanced and pride ourselves on being inclusive, no matter where you are on your Web 3 journey.
