Dinner at Halal Bros

Round Rock Bitcoiners - Meetup #53 kicks off our lean, decentralized, and member-run future!

Join us for dinner at Halal Bros, our first rotating venue, located conveniently off 45 and 35 in Round Rock. We’ll be enjoying their delicious Middle Eastern fare (from generous shawarma and gyros to falafel and rice bowls) and demonstrating our commitment to a circular economy by paying for our meals in bitcoin over their Bitcoin Square terminal.

This meetup embodies our new direction, moving away from single points of failure. We’re now announcing events on evento.so , satlantis.com , and via direct email, leaving paid platforms behind.

Halal Bros, known for its casual counter service, halal, and gluten-free options, is the perfect spot to begin supporting local businesses through peer-to-peer bitcoin networking.

The purpose of this group hasn’t changed:

Share the knowledge, tools, resources, and benefits of the Bitcoin network for advancing humankind.

Grow adoption by local businesses through peer-to-peer networking with other bitcoiners.

Whether you’re new to bitcoin or a hardened node runner, if you live in or around Round Rock, this group is for you.
