From Prince of Travel to Age of Abundance: Fireside Chat with Ricky Zhang

Ricky Zhang spent years building a travel business and seeing much of the world along the way.
Stepping back from it gave him time to dig into questions he had been putting off: why the world's most pressing problems are not on track to being solved, why hard work no longer seems to get people ahead, and what happens to jobs and savings as AI starts doing more of the work.
The answers kept leading him back to the same place: the money itself.
That search led him to Bitcoin, and in 2026 he started Age of Abundance, a weekly live show about the shift happening underneath the headlines in money, AI, energy, and humanity.
Ricky believes we’re living through a one-time change for our species. For all of history, whoever controlled money could make more of it for themselves. Bitcoin is the first money nobody can do that to. Together with AI and cheaper energy, he sees it leading to a world where technology ushers in abundance for all.
